Melbourne got lots of Bitcoin action over the last few days with it’s first Bitcoin ATM installed in the Emporium shopping centre on Lonsdale Street. This is ABA Technology’s second ATM in Australia, with their first one installed in Sydney at Westfield Pitt St back in April. Chris Guzowski, Head of ABA Technology expects further rollouts of their ATMs to follow soon.
Another first is Hero Subs, which became the first Fast Food outlet in Melbourne to accept Bitcoin. They’re also offering a 50% discount if you purchase using bitcoin, so hurry down and grab a sub while the offer is available. We can’t wait to try their “Bitcoin Sub” as well, which is exclusive only to bitcoiners.
